Membership of the Hovercraft Club of GreatBritain is open all those with an interest in Hovercraft Racing, Cruising or just watching. Two membership categories are available depending on your interest.
PREMIER CATEGORY
For the Hovercraft enthusiast who wishes to keep in touch with racing or cruising events officiating at race meetings for just £25.00 per year.

PREMIER PLUS! CATEGORY
For Hovercraft owners and provides all the advantages of PREMIER membership plus hovercraft registration and entry into organized events for only £35.00 per year.

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP SCHEME.
Want to try out hovering for a single race meeting? We have a temporary membership scheme.
Temporary licences and membership will be available for the racing season on a trial basis. This is to encourage those considering racing to "have-a-go" for a weekend, and also for those who may be considering coming back to racing. Current costs are £35 for membership and £20 for a novice licence (total £55). All other costs (e.g. race entry, site use fee etc) will be charged.
A temporary one weekend membership / licence scheme has been agreed. This will cost £25 for the weekend - this comprising £10 for temporary membership and £15 for a novice licence. A junior version is also available; this will cost £15 for the weekend - this comprising £10 for temporary membership and £5 for a junior licence.
This facility would also be useful for someone who wanted to have a try in someone's craft for a weekend, but was put off by the costs.
The rules are as follows:
* Temporary membership / licences are available for one weekend only.
* The offer is available only once per person
* If membership is subsequently applied for in that calendar year, the temporary membership fee will be deducted from the overall costs
* Once full membership has been obtained, the temporary licence can be extended to the remainder of the calendar year
* Temporary membership does not include the provision of magazines
* Those eligible for temporary membership must be either:
* new to the sport - complete novices
* or returning racers who will need to completely re-qualify to race
* Temporary members must comply with all HCGB regulations to compete, and can only compete in novice or junior races as appropriate
